Antique polo trophy in oak with crossed bronze mallets, horseshoe and cap mounted in front of a round beveled mirror. An artistically carved horse head is focally surmounted and signed J. Priestman who was a sculptor for the famed French artist Bonheur. Inscribed below the mirror ‘The Count,’ ostensibly a nickname for a start player of yore. English, circa 1910.
