The Mont Oro. Brunswick triple arch back and front bar. This is the quintessential American bar made by the quintessential American bar company. Circa 1900, The Mont Oro, was the company’s top of the line offering in the classical triple arch configuration. Crafted entirely of quarter sawn oak, the lower cabinet has glassed sliding cabinetry as well as hinged, paneled doors flanked by two areas of open shelving. four full sided, foliate capped columns rise from the surface to support the arched crown which is studded with stately lion masks. Between each column, a pre Art Nouveau cartouche is carved - a stylistic nod to the style that was growing in favor at the time. Each lion mask is wired to hold a small accent light bulb in its mouth and the entire piece is capped by a wide band of egg and dart crown moulding. The wraparound front bar compliments the design with a continued use of raised panels and lion masks as well as a full length brass foot rail and black marble surface.
